Sadly, too many women who have been prompted by God to pastor churches have been so blocked it is difficult to find any leverage with which to fight, or any ground from which to do battle. I've been wondering if women who have been blocked like that should be starting their own churches--perhaps via a small Bible study to begin with and then to grow into a home church group. And if the men won't come and hear women teach and prophesy, women can come on their own and bring their children. As freedom in Christ for women is studied, these small groups may grow faster than one would think. However, the woman who leads such a group may want to cancel her membership elsewhere, first, so that no pastor can punish her for following God and obeying His word. There is no right or wrong answer. It just seems there are so many opportunities for God to do something amazing with a willing servant.
